As our
P&C Association runs a number of fund raising activities
(see Spring Fair also) during the year our voluntary contributions are minimal.
The school operates a
Resource
Contribution Scheme
to help reduce the cost to parents/caregivers of supplying materials used for art, cooking, IT etc.
A number of other events such as camps and excursions occur during the year as well. The Year 7 Leadership camp costs approximately $100. Excursions range in cost from $30.00 in Year 1 to $80.00 in Year 7. An end-of-year trip to Dreamworld on the Gold Coast is also organised for Year 7 Students.
Other activities, where there may be costs to parents, are arranged throughout the year and include an Arts Council performance, sporting events, Surf Awareness training and a "Fun Run" organised by the Physical Education teacher.
